2016 gala
to benefit
The Massachusetts Coalition
for the Homeless
The Coalition is steadfast in our belief that homelessness can be resolved
by supplying safe, affordable, permanent housing for the lowest income
households and through our initiatives we provide opportunities for
families and individuals to build economic stability.
Teen Closet
5,510 homeless and low-income students
have received clothing and hygiene products.
ROOM TO BREATHE
228 households living in poverty have been
educated on removing common triggers,
minimizing asthma attacks in children and adults.
HOMELINK
2,700 low-income households have been offered
comprehensive homelessness prevention and housing
assistance to ensure that they remain stably housed.
A BED FOR EVERY CHILD
3,000 school-aged children have been given a
place to dream by receiving a new bed, linens
and blankets.
FURNITURE BANK
1500 low-income families have furnished their
households with free, gently-used donated
furniture.
