In short it is the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the
apostles on the day of Pentecost. Confirmation brings Catholics a
deepening of baptismal grace and unites us more firmly to Christ. It
increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit and leaves an indelible mark on the
soul just like baptism.
Please pray for all of our Confirmation candidates that received their
Sacrament on Friday night with Bishop Mark Edwards.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the children who
received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Fr Thanh Tran

there were about five thousand
men. But he said to his disciples,
'Get them to sit down in parties of
about fifty.' They did so and made
them all sit down. Then he took
the five loaves and the two fish,
raised his eyes to heaven, and
said the blessing over them; then
he broke them and handed them
to his disciples to distribute
among the crowd. They all ate as
much as they wanted, and when
the scraps remaining were
collected they filled twelve
