Okayo Portable PA System Okayo Portable PA System Operating Instructions C 7189A Wireless Link Transmitter Instructions for fitting Altronics C 7189A (Okayo TX-701) Wireless Link Transmitter to portable PAs. ITEM 1 (p. 1-3) gives instructions for fitting the Wireless Link Transmitter to 100W portable PAs, Altronics C 7217 base model and C7220 UHF with CD model (Okayo GPA-800 series). ITEM 2 (p. 3) gives instructions for fitting the Wireless Link Transmitter to 50W portable PAs, Altronics C 7180, C 7182, C 7184A and C7185 (Okayo GPA-750 series). ITEM 1 Fitting Audio Link Transmitter (C 7189A) to 100W Portable PAs (C 7217 and C 7220) 1. Ensure mains power is disconnected from unit and power switches are OFF. 2. Remove four screws from the power plate. 3. Remove the connection cable from the power switch and LED “ON” indicator PCB. Manufactured for Altronic Distributors Pty Ltd. Place C 7189A module with the antenna down the side of the portable PA. The antenna can be left loose inside the cabinet. 6. Re-connect Power Switch and LED Indicator “ON” PCB. 7. Locate the 8 pin connector inside the main unit and connect to the 8 pin connector cable on the C 7189A module. ITEM 2 SW200 Effect Normal Okayo Portable PA System 8. Fit C 7189A module to main unit and replace screws. The portable PA is now ready for use. J201 Fitting Audio Link Transmitter (C 7189A) to 50W Portable PAs (C 7180, C 7282, C 7184A and C 7185) J204 5. Screw unit back together. 4. Locate jumpers J201 and J204 on the main board inside. Connect the power cable for the wireless link transmitter to J201 and the signal cable to J204. 3. Locate switch SW200 on the main board inside and ensure it is set to “NORMAL” (factory default). 2. Unscrew the blanking panel and disconnect the power cables from the main board. 1. Ensure portable PA is NOT connected to mains power. Disconnect all input cables. CON204
