Description
Modular QPSK/8PSK-QAM transmodulator equipment for digital
satellite TV transponders. The equipment converts the DVB-S/S2
satellite digital channels into DVB-C digital CATV channels in
terrestrial band. Consisting of a power supply unit, an amplifier
and up to 9 transmodulators which are mounted on a support
frame.
Applications
Intended for cable operators and specially for large digital SMATV
installations. The equipment allows the distribution of up to 90
transponders, 720 digital programs, of different satellites and
polarities, through a single coaxial cable. Compatible with all
MATV installations as the channels are distributed in terrestrial
band. It is necessary to install individual DVB-C digital cable TV
receivers with each TV set.
