HOW DO WE MEET THE NEED?
Florida Missions
Council
Throughout our international brotherhood, first world churches
band together regionally to support foreign missions. That way,
churches in need are not overlooked. SFCC and our sister congregations in Florida focus on the Southern Cone of South America.
Additionally, we are building connections with churches in the
Caribbean, currently supported primarily by NYC, and anticipate
partnering with them to spread the gospel.
The Florida Missions Council (FMC) was set up to assess needs
and make sure that love, cooperation and communication prevail
in our missions efforts. As required by the Patriot Act, a GrantorGrantee process is used to develop annual budgets. Mature
missionary churches are encouraged to become more selfsufficient to make way for new churches and new ministry initiatives. FMC administers the Special Offerings that each Florida
church collects.
