Affordable and sustainable modernization packages for geared
overhead, basement and hydraulic elevators.
iMODs are pre-engineered packages designed to take advantage of
administration, engineering and manufacturing efficiencies resulting in a
reduced overall package price when compared with our traditional
modernization packages.
Additionally installation labour savings are
realized through a number of advancements in
the components used in the iMOD package.

iMOD packages can easily reduce overall elevator power consumptions
through engineering technology and selection of environmentally
friendly materials that are utilized in this products such as LED car and
hall fixtures, Geared overhead or basement traction elevators with an
iMOD AC VVVF package upgrade over an existing motor generator
arrangement can decrease elevator power consumption and machine
room heat load by up to 45% .
Optional cab interior upgrade components include
urea-formaldehyde free and FSC (Forestry
Stewardship Council) certified wood products. Sheet
steel components are “painted” on our state of the
art powder coating system. Equipment is packaged in
recyclable cardboard or wood containers. These are
just a few of the green initiatives ThyssenKrupp
Northern Elevator employs to all of our elevator
packages.

The base iMOD package includes limited
warranty to the original installer on all major
components. Base iMOD package comes with
generic layout and fixture drawings.

distance feedback encoder which are now located in the machine room,
