On Sunday, October 9th, Denise Mazzola, CPDTKA, and Amy Willey, CPDT-KA, from Everything
Dog will host a free seminar, Aggression in Dogs.
This seminar is for people only; dogs should stay
at home.
Dogs growl, bark and occasionally bite. Uncovering the motivation behind these behaviors and
understanding the resulting consequences is key to
understanding aggression and the best ways to manage and modify the behavior.
In this 90-minute seminar, they will discuss the
different types of aggression, underlying causes, the
emotions of living with a pet whose behavior makes
you worry about bites/attacks, muzzles, the bite
scale, management techniques, myths surrounding
dog aggression, training plans and a series of questions that may help attendees decide if this pet is right
for their families.
The morning will also include Q&A time to discuss the specific issues and concerns participants are
experiencing.
The seminar will start at 10 a.m. and is being held
at the Rindge Recreation Department (Wellington
Park) at 283 Wellington Road. The seminar is free and
a $10 donation per person to support the Monadnock
Humane Society is encouraged. Contact Amy Willey
