How to use the Credit Card
At Outlets
Simply present your TienPhong Bank Credit Card upon payment for
goods and services. The store assistant will ask you to sign on the
sales slip. You only sign the sales slip after checking that the details
of your credit card and the amount are printed correctly.
Online
You may use TienPhong Bank Credit Card to purchase goods and
services online at the trusted websites.
Withdraw cash
With TienPhong Bank Credit Card and personal identification number
(PIN), you can advance cash of up to VND 50 million a day (depending
on your available cash advance limit) at 16,000 ATMs or 77,000 POSs
in Vietnam or at any others displaying VISA logo located worldwide.
Credit Card Limit
How much credit are you eligible for?
Your credit limit is calculated based on your financial and other
information provided at application for your TienPhong Bank
Credit Card. In case the granted credit limit is higher than you
need, you can ask for it to be reduced.
What if you spend over the credit limit?
If a transaction takes you over your credit limit, you must settle
the excess amount immediately. You may be charged an over
limit fee or have your TienPhong Bank Credit Card Account be
temporarily suspended.
TienPhong Bank Credit Card Statement
You will receive the monthly TienPhong Bank Credit Card
statement including the following:
Detailed transactions made for the statement period
Details of installment plan (if any)
Interest and other charges
The updated remaining credit limit
Payments made and payments due
You shall carefully read your statement and make sure you
understand the obligations as a Credit Card Holder. Statement
information may vary for each type of product.
However, for your optimal benefit, you should regularly check the
amount of money you owe (the your closing balance) and when
the minimum monthly payment has to be paid, the amount of
credit you have used and your remaining credit limit).

How much do you have to pay?
You can pay the full statement closing balance or part of it but at
least the monthly minimum amount

If you don’t settle the monthly minimum amount by the due date,
you may be charged a late payment fee and your TienPhong Bank
Credit Card account may be suspended or closed.
Checking the transactions on your statement
In case you doubt any charges on the statement, please check your
sales slips and receipts of the transactions. You may have forgotten
about the transactions made earlier that month.
If you are sure about the inaccuracy of any transactions listed on
the statement, the first step is to contact the merchant.
If you are unhappy with the result, please contact our Hotline
1800 58 58 85 or (84 4) 37683 683 and ask for assistance with a
disputed transaction.
After checking, if TienPhong Bank agrees that you have been
incorrectly charged and you have notified TienPhong Bank within
a reasonable time, the transaction will be reversed and a refund
processed to your account.
Credit Card Payment
Debt Payment
Statement Date: the 10th of every month
Payment Due Date: the 25th of every month. In case the payment
due date falls on weekends or holidays, it is extended to the next
working day.
Payment Amount
The full amount transacted or the minimum payment.
Ways of Payment
Together with issuing the credit card, TienPhong Bank also open a
payment account for the customer not having TienPhong Bank
account, to which the bank can automatically debit the payment
amount every month. The customers are asked to choose the
accounts to be auto - debited monthly if they have already got
TienPhong Bank accounts. After receiving the monthly statement
from TienPhong Bank, customers can choose to pay the full closing
balance or the minimum amount due by cash or transfer funds.
Forms of Money Transfer:
Account Transfer
You can transfer funds from your accounts at other banks to
your TienPhong Bank credit account. Your credit account
balance at TienPhong Bank should be enough to pay for the
minimum amount due before 3.00pm on the 20th every month
Internet Banking/Mobile Banking
If you have many accounts at TienPhong Bank, you can
transfer funds from any accounts to the registered auto debit
payment account through Internet Banking service of
TienPhong Bank on our website: https://ebank.tpb.vn
You can register to use our internet banking service at any
transaction offices of TienPhong Bank.
Cash payment
Credit Card Holder can deposit cash to the registered auto
debit TienPhong Bank account at any transaction offices of
TienPhong Bank during our service hours on business days.
Payment Information Check
You may use TienPhong Bank Internet Banking service to check
the statements, transactions, and the remaining credit limit just
with some clicks. Besides, upon every payment transaction or
money withdrawal, you will instantly receive an SMS informing of
the amount of money transacted, time and transaction location.
Fees
Fees and charges on your TienPhong Bank credit card are detailed
in TienPhong Bank Credit Card Fees Schedule. If there are any
changes to these fees, you will be notified.
Fees may vary between TienPhong Bank Credit Cards and are
charged for:
Account Maintenance (for example, the annual fee)
Service Fees (for example, the late payment or over credit limit
fees)
Some kinds of transactions (for example, if you use credit card
to withdraw cash)

Useful tips when using TienPhong Bank Credit Card
Safe Use
Upon receiving the Card, please sign right on the dedicated
space on its back side
Keep the Card in safe places, away from the magnetic items
(mobile phone, magnet …)
Avoid the deformations of the Card
Write down the Card Number/Account Number and the Bank’s
support number 1800 58 58 85 or (84 4) 37683 683 for use
when necessary
Do not lend the Card nor authorize others to conduct card
transaction
Always demand the face-front transaction and within control of
Card Holder
Retrieve the Card upon every transaction
Secure and do not disclose the following information: card
number, PIN code, card’s expiry date and especially the CVV2
(CVV2 comprises of 03 digits printed beneath the signature area
on the back of the Card)
Keep the receipts of all transactions until they are listed on the
statement
Immediately inform the Bank of any changes regarding
residence, statement delivery address, work place, SMS-receiving
phone number… etc
If your Card is lost or stolen, call TienPhongBank immediately at

PIN Code Protection
PIN is the secret code including 4 digits, which must be decided
and secured by the Card Holder
Remember the PIN instead of writing it down
Do not let anyone use your Credit Card and do not disclose the
PIN Code even to the Bank’s staff
You should not attribute personal information to the PIN Code
for example the date of birth, ID number, phone number… etc
Change the PIN Code immediately in case of possible disclosure
For your-own safety and convenience, you should change and
set up your PIN code at TienPhong Bank ATMs right after your
credit card is issued. If you don’t receive SMS activating the
credit card within 24 hours, please contact our call center

Supplementary Card
You can apply supplementary cards for your loved ones. The
credit limit is shared between the Primary and Supplementary
cardholders, the maximum credit limit of Supplementary
cardholders is equal to that of the Primary ones.
