This brochure is designed for Group Tours only – in addition to providing information on
accommodations, meals, tours and local attractions, it features special pricing for Group Tours visiting
the Festhallen. Additional information on our accredited Festhallen and events can be found on our
website. www.oktoberfest.ca
Guaranteed Arrival Time (GAT) is one of the most important guidelines for our success in
accommodating so many people. We try to make room for everyone to join the party! Be on time
…advance ticket holders have a specific period of time (GAT) that they are allowed to enter once the many
Festhallen open. GAT’s vary, so be sure to check the time on our Festhallen tickets. People who have not
purchased advance tickets often wait in line to gain admission, and after the GAT, if the halle is not filled to
capacity, they are allowed to enter. Any pre-sold tickets are still honoured after the GAT, but NOW You
must wait in line! All festhallen are advised of group arrival times. Groups have areas of specific seating –
You Are Special!
Dress Code – Clean and casual, and Bavarian Tracht of course! Proper footwear is a must everywhere!
Bring a sweater or a jacket for cooler temperatures!
It is difficult to predict weather for the Festival – 2005 was cold and windy, 2008 was sunny and
warm! 2011? Watch your local weather station for an up-to-date forecast!
