1958 Vernon Gleasman (USA) obtains a first patent for differential « Triple D » ( = Torsen Type A)
1982 Gleason Works buys the patents from Gleasman. « Triple D » is named Torsen (Torque Sensing)
1985 Gleason Works starts Torsen production at factory in Ghlin, Belgium. (Origine of JTRE)
1989 ZEXEL Corporation purchases Torsen business worldwide from Gleason Works
1990 ZEXEL Torsen buys a production hall in Strépy Bracquegnies. (Current plant)
2003 Toyoda Machine Works purchases Torsen business worldwide from Bosch Japan
