Paris becomes seventh european city in
AirBridgeCargo's network
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), the scheduled cargo
business of Volga-Dnepr Group, has launched a twiceweekly all-cargo service to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The new Boeing 747 route will link with both Domodedovo
and Sheremetyevo Airports in Moscow.
Paris becomes the seventh European city in ABC's growing
networking, reinforcing its position as Russia's largest
international scheduled cargo airline. This continued route
expansion supports Volga-Dnepr Group's network
development strategy and follows the arrival of the tenth
Boeing 747 to ABC's modern fleet.
“France remains one of Russia's most important trading
partners. It is noteworthy that AirBridgeCargo Airlines has
entered French market during the 'Year of France in Russia
and Russia in France', a campaign that is equally important
for both countries. We are proud to be offering the first ever
freighter connection between our two countries. And we like
to thank all parties involved to make this project happen. ”
said Tatyana Arslanova, Executive President of
AirBridgeCargo.
The inaugural flight was greeted with a traditional 'airplane
shower' and included meetings with local partners and
customers in Paris and an evening reception to celebrate
the new route.
AirBridgeCargo's European network also includes
Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Malmo, Zaragoza and
Milan. The Paris-Moscow flight will provide a convenient
link for the transportation of fashion and apparel products
and pharmaceutical goods to Russia. Additionally, it will
enable customers in France to access the vibrant China
market and ABC's other destinations in Asia via its hub at

ABC adds fourth
destination in Сhina
through strategic cooperation with Zhengzhou
international airport
AirBridgeCargo Airlines is extending its all-cargo services
from China with a new twice-weekly B747-400 freighter
flight from Zhengzhou to Europe.
Flights from the capital of Henan province depart from
Zhengzhou International Airport every Wednesday and
Saturday to ABC's hub in Moscow and then continue onto
Frankfurt, Germany, connecting central China with Europe
and Russia. AirBridgeCargo aims to increase frequencies to
four B747F flights per week by the end of the year.
The inaugural flight is the first result of the strategic
cooperation between ABC and Zhengzhou International
Airport. Following the accelerated development of inland
regions prioritized by China Central government, Henan
province - as the most populous province in China with a
population of over 100 million - is attracting investment from
major export-oriented manufacturers.
Companies investing in the region appreciate the
advantages of the province's well developed land
transportation network, favorable investment climate, and
access to land, labor, and other resources at competitive
cost. The new air cargo service offered by AirBridgeCargo
from Zhengzhou is logical step in developing a complete
logistical infrastructure in Central China, so far underserved by international all-cargo airlines. The link between
Zhengzhou and global cargo markets will also benefit the
development of neighboring cities such as Wuhan,
Chongqing, and Chengdu, that will have easier and better
access to airfreight capacity.
For AirBridgeCargo Airlines, the
largest and fastest-growing
scheduled cargo airline in Russia
and the CIS, Zhengzhou is its
fourth destination in China, joining
Beijing, Shanghai and Hong
Kong- largest air cargo hubs of
China. Since its foundation in
2004, ABC has been steadily
increasing its presence in China,
currently offering double daily
service to Shanghai, and daily
flights to both Beijing and Hong
Kong using its modern and
growing fleet of B747-400F
aircraft, AirBridgeCargo provides
significant benefits for businesses
trading between China and
Europe, offering the shortest flying
time, a wide choice of
destinations, high frequency
4
services and efficient connectivity, including to Paris, the
airline's latest European destination.
In strategic cooperation with airport authorities, business
partners, and the local freight forwarding community ABC is
determined to further enhance its airfreight product in
Central and Western China by steadily increasing the
frequency of flights from Zhengzhou airport to daily in 2011.

NEWS OF VOLGA-DNEPR GROUP
ABC extends 747F network in Russia
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has extended its delivery network in Russia with the
launch of a new weekly flight from Amsterdam to Yekaterinburg and a direct service
from Frankfurt to Moscow's Domodedovo Airport.
The new routes are the next step in ABC's network expansion plans in Russia.
Following the creation and development of its Moscow Sheremetyevo hub, the
airline is now starting to develop new destinations in Russia. Yekaterinburg's unique
geographical position has seen it become a popular and important transport and
logistics centre on the Trans-Siberian route. The city is at the heart of main transport
roads that position Yekaterinburg at the center of key routes from Central Russia to
Siberia, adjacent to the Siberian to and the Trans-Siberia railway.
As well as Yekaterinburg, the new route allows ABC to offer deliver solutions to
destinations such as Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, Nefteyugansk and South of
Ural (Chelyabinsk) using road feeder services. From Yekaterinburg, ABC's
customers will have the possibility to deliver cargo to Hong Kong and other Asian
destinations within its current network.
ABC is initially serving the Russian city with a weekly B747F scheduled charter flight
from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.
The launch of the new Domodedovo freighter service from Germany on May, 30th
will mark the start of a weekly B747F flight every Sunday. ABC will offer the only
freighter connection between Frankfurt and Domodedovo having previously served
the Moscow airport from other points in Europe. The new route reflects an increase
in volumes and customer requirements.
ABC operates 28 flights a week from Europe (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Maastricht,
Zaragoza and Milan) to Russia, including three weekly frequencies to
Domodedovo.
“AirBridgeCargo offer exclusive air cargo solutions to the Russian market using its
modern fleet of Boeing 747 freighters. This has been increased to nine airplanes in
the last month. We have identified sufficient customer demand to support the launch
of our new routes to Yekaterinburg and Domodedovo. Koltsovo Airport is one of the
major airports in Russia and is equipped to handle all types of cargo,” said Tatyana
Arslanova, Executive President of AirBridgeCargo Airlines.
ABC is the biggest Russian cargo carrier and is the schedule cargo airline of VolgaDnepr Group.
