Kilaguni was the first lodge ever to be built in a Kenyan game park – and for the last ten years it has
been part of the excellent Serena group. Built on a dramatic ridge at the foot of the volcanic Chyulu
Hills, the lodge commands breathtaking views of Africa’s tallest mountain, the snow-capped
Kilimanjaro. Tsavo West is one of the best game viewing areas in Kenya for Greater Kudu and other
rare antelopes. It’s extremely varied landscape and immense size means that it attracts a wide
diversity of wildlife. It is particularly famous for its elephants, dyed red by the Tsavo earth. The lodge
offers plenty of activities including game drives, guided walks, bush breakfasts and trips to the nearby
Mzima springs.

Kilaguni Serena has 56 rooms - 51 standard rooms and 5 suites (all non-smoking). All the rooms are
en-suite and have their own verandahs some facing the Chyulu hills and others facing the waterhole.
