* Wonen seeking refuge sometimes bring their childrenwith them but most often they will leave behind
some of their childrento be taken care of by other membersof the family. So even though the \ircmen
had a total of at least 220 children,only 11Qrir,erebroughtto the shelter.
* Even though almostthreequartersof the womencomingfor shelterhad children,more than half of
them (57%) did not bring any childrenwith them to WAO. Most of the uomen who bring childrenwith
them, bring only one (16%)ortwo (13%).
