The safety valve is basically a plunger that
sits in a seat and is held against that seat
by a spring. The pressure in the line presses
against that plunger and, when the pressure
exceeds the pressure of the spring holding
the plunger against the seat, the plunger is
pushed away from the seat, allowing gas to
pass through.
Technical characteristics
–– Our valves are constructed with body in
borosilicated glass 3.3 and plunger in PTFE.
–– The valves are designed to meet the
requirements of DNV Business Assurance
and are supplied with inspection
certificate 3.1
