And best of all Rax had her very first rain experience as a rider.
It may have been wet and rainy,
but it didn't seem to take the
smiles off of these gals.
On 7/16/11 a last minute decision was made to ride to Tarpon Springs for some
shopping and lunch. I believe 2 Diva dudes were spotted in the mix. The weather was
hot and humid, but they trekked on anyway. Some spices, wine, and of course
beloved CANDY was purchasd. The question was "Would it make it all home?" Afterall,
the goods were all in Rax's saddlebags. The highlight of the day was getting to hold an
endangered tiger. The donation for holding him was cheap $10.00, but it went for his
upkeep. He is one of the special animals who call Dade City's Wild Things home. They provide a variety of "up close and
peresonal" tours. "It was a once in a liftime opportunity."
Of course they had to stop for some
"Kodak" moments. Oh yeah,
remember I mentioned T-shirts
earlier; well they have to wear them

on their rides. I mean the Divas need

to show who they are! 10 minutes
from home ..it downpoured. The skies just opened up. OUCH! Rain mixed with the jet steam flowing up from tires, really
hurts. Again, Rax got some rain experience!
And we can't forget it was Christms in July. A small but cute parade of Santas went right by. ~.
7/16/11 the Chrome Divas were invited to an Iron Pigs BBQ. Afterall, 3 of the Diva members
are married to current Law Enforcement Officcers, or retired warrant officers. It is always a
pleasure to assist other local organizations in their events. We may belong to different
organizations, but most of the time we strive for the same outcome ...to help our community
in need. Keep your eyes on the road ..you never know when you may spot the Tampa Bay
