Trippin Out came into this
season’s playoffs on Saturday night knowing that the
fight for first would be a
hard road to travel. After
winning on Saturday night
against Hill Gang, they
moved into Sunday morning’s match with eyes toward the prize. The bracket
put them facing a couple of
good teams in order to succeed. With a few hours
passed, they moved into the
top 4 having to play Seein
Double in order to get to the
final match. A brilliant set of
games and wired darts led
Trippin Out in winning the
last few matches and taking
the game. Moving on to the
finals, they faced the Bad
Boys who have been on a
winning playoff streak, but
still determined to take them
down. After the 2nd cricket
game, the score was tied 5-5,
looking very promising. In a
tough Cricket game, they
took the final cricket and
moved on to 601. With only
1 game to win in order to
take the cup, they were
forced to play a second 601
game, to which Cody Gay
threw the winning dart to
their victory. These darters
threw amazing and we salute
you as champs!
2014 Board pushes forward into the future!
This season marked the
change for a board decision
in order to move the league
forward into the future with
the use of technology in
order to update each week’s
stats. The use of E-mail
sheet turn in using a
smartphone was approved
during the week 8 of play
and implemented immediately. For the start of the Fall
2014 season, we are hopefully looking to see more
people motivated and sending us weekly sheets through
E-mail. Our post office can
still be used if you choose to
turn your sheet in this way,
but now you have the option
to do either. Also, approval
to purchase a hard drive for
our secretary to keep records
on was approved.

Report of Grievances and Protests:
This season has been an active season for the R&G Committee. The committee has had two
winter season grievances, and one summer season grievance. The have consisted of an illegal player, protest on a match date, physical violence, bad conduct, and unlike sportsmanship. The purpose of writing this article is to hopefully bring to everyone’s attention how
these events can or has effected all members. We all love playing darts and want to go out
on a Tuesday night league play to have fun. These violations are departmental to our league
and the sport. Hopefully next season we will keep in mind what our actions can do to our
team members, sponsors, and league. This is our league. Let us keep it safe and a fun place
to be. Have a great Fall Season and shoot well!

Vice President’s Corner
I would like to say Thanks to all
my division representatives for
the last two seasons. We have
had a great turnout at our Board
meetings for the past winter and
summer season and have accomplished a lot of needed updates and changes to our ByLaws and Policies and Procedures. The goal is to bring them
up to date.
It has been my pleasure serving
as your Vice President and I
will continue to keep the
league’s interest and well being
as my main goal.
Good Luck and Shoot Well!
