STANDARD HORIZON's CP1000C Daylight Viewable Colour GPS CHART PLOTTER introduces a whole new level of
performance, at an unequaled price. The CP1000C combines the outstanding accuracy of a 12 channel WAAS receiver with the
processing speed (RISC) and full VGA screen resolution (640x480) of COLOUR Chart Plotters costing twice as much. The
CP1000C features C-MAPNT+ cartography, delivering significantly better detail than its competition. In addition, the built-in
world map features nautical chart detail for North and South America up to 2NM.
Dual Color Video Inputs
The CP1000C has two colour camera inputs that allow connection of the optional surface mount (VC10) or Thru Hull (THVC10)
so you can see what is going on above and below the water line. In fact the CP1000C can be customized to alternatively show the
connected camera view and the Chart page allowing the user to both navigate and monitor simultaneously. The Video inputs can
also be used to connect to a VCR or DVD player to play movies on the chartplotter display.
When more detail is required the user will appreciate the simplicity of installing one or two C-MAPNT+ cartridges into the dual
front-loading waterproof door. Plus the CP1000C's unique backlit “Shuttle Point” cursor control key makes it simple to move the
cursor to any point on the screen. The CP1000C includes all of the features you expect in a Chart Plotter, including 3000
waypoints and 50 reversible routes, while introducing a new set of features not available in any other plotter at any price.
10-key Alpha Numeric Keypad
This keypad allows you to enter or change waypoint, and mark names and coordinates quickly and easily.
WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) Receiver
WAAS improves the accuracy, integrity, and availability of the basic GPS signals. The wide area of coverage for this
system includes the entire United States and some outlying areas such as Canada and Mexico. WAAS delivers the
pinpoint accuracy of DGPS without the additional expense. WAAS receivers deliver repeatable accuracy to within
10 feet of the actual position. The STANDARD HORIZON CP1000C is the least expensive GPS CHARTPLOTTER
to include this technology.
VHF DSC Distress/postion Request Log And Display
The CP1000C introduces a new technology to GPS Chart Plotting. Soon the U.S. Coast Guard will have national coverage for
DSC reception. DSC allows the operator of a VHF equipped with the technology (STANDARD HORIZON offers three models
with such a capability) to send a continuous unattended distress call with date, time, latitude and longitude. Connect your
CP1000C to the STANDARD HORIZON SPECTRUM+ or INTREPID+, and the CP1000C can log and display a distress call
directly on the chart. In fact once a distress call is received the user is prompted whether they would like to see the position of the
distress vessel relative to their own. Should the operator select to see the distress vessels position, the CP1000C automatically
zooms out to show both the transmitted position of the vessel in distress and the receiving vessel directly on the chart. A second
prompt asks the user if they would like to navigate to the vessel in distress while alerting the operator to possible obstructions. In
addition to logging and displaying DSC distress calls the CP1000C will also accept DSC Position Request calls. Want to meet a
fellow fisherman at a hot fishing spot, simply poll their VHF for position with your HORIZON INTREPID+ or SPECTRUM+ and
the radio automatically inputs the data to your CP1000C. Connect your CP1000C to an autopilot and you have an integrated
navigation system that eliminates the requirement for coordinate input.
Simply put, navigation has never been simpler or more accurate.

This page is a fishermen's delight. It not only shows Sun/Moon rise and set times, Moon Phase but also a tide graph showing
exactly where the tide cycle is from the closest tide station.
