Launched in 1999 by Italian artist and designer Ippolita,
the IPPOLITA brand aimed to fill a void in the designer
jewelry category. At the time, jewelry was largely
traditional, often designed by men, and purchased
mostly for special occasions. Today, the New York-based
company is a luxury brand that creates and delivers new
collections each season that are feminine,
wearable, handcrafted and cool.
Ippolita spent her childhood in Florence and later studied
at the renowned Istituto d’Arte, both of which greatly
influenced her style and aesthetic. As a result, her love
of shape and form is present in everything she creates.
The brand’s credo, LA VITA È BELLA
(LIFE IS BEAUTIFU L) is inspired by the allure of
the Italian spirit, and the idea that passion, fun, and
fulfillment are within reach for every woman.
