Himachal Fest at DakshinaChitra
DakshinaChitra Museum celebrates the art and culture of Himachal Pradesh for 9 days beginning 13th December to 21st
December 2014 jointly organized with the South Zone Cultural Centre. The festival aims to bring together the rich and diverse
traditions of Himachal culture, highlighting the dance forms and crafts of Himachal Pradesh. The festival will be an educative
and fun experience for the Chennai public and visitors to our city. Performances include:Folk performances include Mahasu Nati,
Gaddi Nati, and Churahi Dance. Visitors get to view the colourful costumes and dancing through the day. Display and sale of
crafts from Himachal, which includes handmade, crafts, textiles and jewellery to name a few. The performances will be between
