Michael Baker International has a legacy of service to the Department of Defense (DOD) dating

• Developed an action plan to evaluate base sustainability and create a roadmap for improvement

resources, facilities, operations and maintenance, transportation, indoor air quality, climate,

Navy Facilities Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Study
NAVFAC Atlantic - Project Costs: $280K (Fee)
• Developing high level studies that evaluate the suitability of existing facilities (piers, wharfs/quay walls, hangars,
magazines, operations, and warehousing) and infrastructure with operations, training and maintenance of new
weapons platforms.
• Evaluation of major platforms including: BAMS-UAV, P-8A, MH-60R/S, LCS, DDG-1000, SSGN, VA Class, JSF, LHA-6,
LHD-8 and CVN-78
• Development of rough order of magnitude cost estimates that will lead to DD Form 1391s and phasing timelines
associated with facility investment recommendations
• Final products were a study for each CNEUR and CNRSWA that briefly described each AOR with a matrix suitability in
a red, yellow, and green assessment rating. Recommendations identified potential environmental planning and local/
host nation requirements

infrastructure and utility projects.

Developed multi-phase cost estimates for the 175,000 sf
museum, sited on 85 acres, dedicated to the 30 million men
and women who have served in the US Army since 1775. The
museum includes gallery areas, memorial garden, parade
