The Event - 34th Edition
Sponsored and executed by – Associação Brasileira de Ensaios Não Destrutivos e Inspeção, the next
edition of ConaEnd & IEV 2016 will approach themes that have direct impact on the daily affairs of
companies, professionals, Universities, END Research Centers, as well as on the inspection of
equipments and material, and on service rendering. In fact, we will present the most advanced
technology used in the main industrial segments of the Country.
The highlight is the technical aspect of the event, which will present the most recent research
results and the works that address the main issues concerning productivity, equipment reliability,
and industrial plants.
The equipment will also have special sections, debate forums, presentation of papers (orally and via
posters) and mini-courses focused on themes of industrial relevance.
Objective
One of the main objectives of the ConaEnd & IEV is establishing a synergy between the technical

Call for Papers
Conaend’s program will include technical presentation sessions (oral/poster), panels and plenary
conferences. Those interested in submit original works must follow the proposed themes and schedule.
Oral Presentation
Sessions for technical-scientific formal works presentations of general interest for a big audience,
lasting 20 minutes per work (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions)
Poster Presentation
Sessions for informal presentations, where authors and participants discuss technical subjects with
specific focus.
About the selection of papers
The selection of papers will be based on analysis of received synopses. The Technical Committee reserves the right to refuse the final work if it is at odds with the forwarded synopsis. Authors should
choose the form of presentation of the work (oral / poster), however, it can be changed by the Event
Technical Committee.
Awards
All works presented in the CONAEND&IEV 2016 will compete for the “Paula Leite” Award. This prize
awards the best technical work presented orally during the event.

NDT Talks Area – Ideas that deserve to be shared.
We invite all those interested in presenting their ideas, knowledge and/or use regarding NDT and
Inspection in the Conaend.
This area is earmarked for the disclosure of short presentations regarding ideas that deserve to be
shared aiming towards the improvement and development of NDTs and Inspection.
Different from the technical works, the objective of this action is to have a huge brainstorming on
subjects related to NDTs with the purpose of presenting small innovations, improvements and their
uses.
How to participate?
Fill out the enrollment form in the event’s website: www.conaend.org.br
Submit a video with no more than two (2) minutes presenting your idea.
It is important to stress in the video the idea’s objective, possible uses and conclusion.
All videos will be analyzed and selected by the event’s organizing committee.

About it
The NDT and Inspection Championship first edition was in 2014 and was named Olimpíada de END
e Inspeção (NDT and Inspection Olympic Games).
Sponsored by GE the competition developed a practical dispute among professionals certified by
the SNQC method of Ultrasound N2 and this two days competition took place simultaneously to
ConaEnd.
In 2016 the competition will increase and include the method Magnetic Particles.

To foster a practical knowledge competitions among professionals certified by the SNQC/NDT-N2, in
