The permit fee for a residential alarm is $25.00 per year. The permit fee for a business is $50.00 per year.
Please make your check payable to the “City of San Bernardino .” Mail your check to the San Bernardino
Police Department P.O. Box 140576 Irving, TX 75014-0576 Attention Alarm Compliance Unit.
To process your application the following information must be filled out completely. If the application is for
a business, we must have the manager’s name and telephone number. If you have any questions, please
call the Alarm Compliance Unit at (877)-603-8674.

San Bernardino Municipal Code 8.81.110 - Notice of name of service or occupant: Every alarm
user shall post a notice containing the names and telephone numbers of the persons to be
notified to render repairs or service and secure the premises during anytime the alarm is
actuated. Such response and service shall be accomplished promptly.
Alarm companies doing business in the City of San Bernardino are aware that an alarm permit is required.
