Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Supports Blue Knights VIII
Chatham County Sheriff Roy Harris is pleased to lend his and the Chatham County
Sheriff’s Office support to two upcoming events put on by the Blue Knights GA VIII. All
proceeds from these events benefit GA C.O.P.S., Concern of Police Survivors and the
200 Club of Coastal Georgia.
Friday, April 1st, 2016, there will be a charity golf tournament at Black Creek Golf Club,
277 Canterwood Dr., Ellabell, GA. Tee time is 1:00 PM. The cost is $400 per team. For

Hall who lost is life in a car accident last September.
Sunday, April 3rd, 2016, join the Blue Knights GA VIII on the Coastal Georgia Police
Memorial Ride. Registration runs from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at the Savannah Morning
News on Police Memorial Drive. Kickstands up and the ride begins at 2:00 PM. The cost
is $20 per person and includes lunch and a ride pin.
“Deputy Rick Hall was a valued member of our office and is sorely missed.” said Sheriff
Harris. “We encourage those in our community to support these events which help to
provide resources to assist in rebuilding the lives of surviving families of law
enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.”
