HUA YI SECONDARY SCHOOL
AREA 18 Games Day 2010
Description
Area 18 NPCC Games Day is an Area 18 initiative that saw 8 schools
coming together to host inter-unit competitions concurrently. Interested
units can indicate your interest directly to the respective organising schools
using the attached registration forms. More details, including the rules can be found in
the attachment. As part of the Olympic values, cadets are expected to stay until the end
for the prize presentation ceremony.
Objectives
• To increase the level of sportsmanship among the hosting, organising and
participating schools
• To provide a platform where NPCC cadets, officers and others could interact and
network through increasing multilevel cooperation and collaboration in future
endeavours
• To provide avenues for cadet leaders and officers to demonstrate their leadership,
organization and interpersonal skills
• To promote the country’s Olympic efforts through the transmission of Olympic values
via the following platforms: games, exhibits and rituals

Description
Send in a photograph that depicts a memorable moment captured during
any activity. Include a caption for this special moment!
Objectives
Reflect the memorable times that in the Unit.

• Each unit can submit up to 2 entries
• Per entry should be in JPEG format

Anglican High Inter-unit Competition 2010 Cartoon Vivacity
Description
Anglican High NPCC Unit is organizing its Inter-Unit competition,
“Cartoon Vivacity”. The competition will require teams to move around to
different game stations to complete various tasks. This competition is

open to all NPCC cadets from Secondary 1 to Secondary 4. Registration for the
competition will close when the quota of teams is reached.
Objectives
• To encourage interactions between cadets from different units and areas
• To encourage healthy competition and yet establish friendship through friendly
competition

Brief description of the competition:
1. This is a game that requires teams to move to various stations.
2. Teams will be given the specific order to move from stations to stations within the
school compound.
3. Two participating schools will be grouped in to a team.
4. At each station, teams will complete the activity or games given in order, the game
masters will sign on their game sheets.
5. The winning team is determined by reaching NP room at the shortest time.
6. The two schools in the winning team will then play against each other in a
championship game to determine the winning school.
*Participating teams would be briefed in detail on the actual day*

PHSNPCC’s 4th Annual Air Rifle Shooting Competition (ARSC) is here!
The 3rd ARSC 2009 was a blast and we would like to thank the various
participating units. Schools are encouraged to send in one full boys’
and/or one full girls’ team for the competition. Come join in the fun!
