and the speciics of News Tribune design style. Should
be able to produce eye-catching pages using InDesign.

duluthnewstribune.com.
• Expected to be able to quickly check the work of colleagues to be sure it’s accurate and complete. Should
be able to provide helpful feedback in an effort to improve the newspaper as a whole.
• Expected to produce pages by their assigned deadlines. Expected to provide prooing and other timely assistance to help colleagues meet deadlines.
• Expected to produce perform basic photo management
tasks, including downloading, sizing and cropping and
toning.
• Responsible for meeting the needs of our readers
through market research and community contact, expected to understand who our readers are and shape
the content and design of the newspaper to meet their
needs; expected to use information to identify opportunities for new products and coverage to serve our readership.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
• Flexibility is important. A typical week consists of evening shifts and often includes weekends and holidays.
Time off may be in split shifts. Must be capable of handling deadline stress and working at deadline pace.
