Babies who were cared for in
the NICU have special needs
due to conditions which
they experienced before or
during birth, or during the
newborn period.
Your baby will have periodic
developmental assessments
to identify and address
any problems related to
prematurity or his/her
complicated course at birth.
As a supplement to your
pediatric care, we help
coordinate additional
services that your
baby may need in
order to give
him/her their
best chance to attain
optimal development.
All findings will be discussed
with you and a copy of the
evaluation will be sent to
your pediatrician.
