Westmoore Community Church Newsletter
April 2010
I am so ready for spring—how about you! My wife and I were sitting on
our back porch the other night talking about how much we look forward to
the grass becoming green, the trees budding and the flowers blooming.
She made the comment that Easter is her favorite time of year. I totally
agree especially spiritually. Easter is a reminder that there really is NEW
LIFE! Maybe some things in your life or your relationship to God feel dead
and dormant. It doesn’t have to stay that way—there is NEW LIFE to
come. Maybe you are down and depressed because you have lost a loved
one this past year . . . remember there is NEW LIFE to come.
There are all kinds of signs of NEW LIFE in our church. Many people are
coming to Christ and getting baptized. Many are getting involved and
serving our community through prison ministry and the Jesus House.
Many are getting involved in our world through our community of orphans
we sponsor in Africa. Addicts are finding freedom, marriages are finding
renewal, kids and youth are finding Christ. I hope you will come and
celebrate this NEW LIFE with us and be a part of giving NEW LIFE to others
through WCC. Let’s continue to invite others to come to the NEW LIFE that
is available to them through WCC!
BLOOD DRIVE AT WCC

Oklahoma Blood Institute will be at WCC that Sunday

tips to cultivate a healthy and happy marriage.

Are you a biker, want to be a biker or
just like hanging out with bikers?
Then the Iron Messengers is for you!
The WCC motorcycle group will meet
on Monday April 5th at 7:00 p.m. in

Camp WOW is just around the corner—June 9th—13th!
Camp cost this year is $249. It is going to be awesome! We
are going with four other churches! We have it set up this
year where you can start paying now! If you start this
month you will only need to pay about $60 a month to have it
paid for in time for camp.
Also, if you ordered an Iron Messengers t-shirt, pick yours up
at the Information Center
Sunday.
This year students will have the opportunity to sell “Life
Line Stocks”. This is a fundraiser to help students offset
the cost of camp. You can buy your stocks from any
WCC student or go to the back of the church to “CAMP
CENTRAL”. All shareholders will be invited to a share
holder appreciation dinner after camp. You will be served
by the students that benefitted from your investment and
you will get to hear student testimonies about camp!
KIDS ROCK CAMP
Spring break is over, the last day of school is on the horizon and Kids Rock Camp „10 is knockin‟
