This integration brings together Cloud-based Monitoring Services
from Bosch and Micro Key Solutions’ (MKS) Millenium Monitoring
platform for an intelligent video surveillance solution designed
specifically for monitoring centers.
Monitoring centers based on Millennium Monitoring can easily
add video and business optimization services from Cloud-based
Monitoring Services (Monitoring Services), without the
investment in specialized hardware or software. Deployment tools
like plug-and-play camera connectivity and remote configuration
of IP camera settings, assist monitoring centers in providing
services with minimal overhead. Monitoring Services and MKS
integration supports all Bosch IP cameras with proven features
and key technologies such as starlight low light performance and
Intelligent Video Anaylsis (IVA). Bosch encoders and storage
devices are also compatible.
Cloud-based Monitoring Services is hosted and maintained by
Bosch on the monitoring centre’s behalf and requires no
additional software to be installed on the premises. The
connection between the systems is established by a single IP port
and can be secured by standard VPN technologies. Once the IP
connection is established, Monitoring Services is added to MKS
as quickly as an IP receiver.
Cloud-based Monitoring Services manages camera connections
and receiving of alarm events. Events configured to be forwarded
to monitoring centers will be displayed in Millennium alarm stack
similar to other signals. An efficient video operation interface is
available for event processing, helping the agent to make an

location. Video alarm resolution is done by standard means from
within Millennium. Cameras managed by Monitoring Services can
be remotely reconfigured by the monitoring centers in response to
things such as a change in surroundings. This allows for fine
tuning the programming of the camera resulting in higher
detection performance and fewer false alarms resulting in
reduced service operating costs.

Agents gain fast situational awareness of pre-filtered video alarms and perform immediate audio intervention
to prevent damage onsite.
Virtual Guard / Escort
With this service, monitoring center agents are scheduled to perform remote checks of all key areas at the
customer’s premises or accompany processes on site.
Virtual Assistant
This service enables the agent to provide immediate remote assistance at the push of an emergency button to
a person in distress.
Customer Traffic Report
Visitor traffic at the end-customer’s site can be monitored, analyzed and processed at the Cloud to generate
reports that help to improve the end-customer’s business.
The customer is presented with business intelligence on visitor traffic supporting site performance evaluation.
Site Monitor App and Smart
Notifications
The Site Monitor app helps customers keep an eye on their business with remote mobile access and Smart
Notifications of critical business operations. It is available at the Apple and Google Play Stores.
