Welcome to the
2015 IIHF World Junior Championship!
“We are extremely proud to welcome the 2015 and 2017 IIHF World
Junior Championship to Montreal and the Bell Centre. This prestigious
international tournament will benefit amateur hockey development in
Quebec,” said Geoff Molson, owner, president and chief executive officer
of the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club, Bell Centre and evenko.
“Our organization has long been committed to playing an active role in
the community, culture and economies of both our city and the province
of Quebec, and hosting such an important
international championship
is yet another example of
that commitment. We are
honoured to not only be
able to play a role in the
organization of the
tournament but also to be a
part of these great
celebrations.”

Follow Along With
The Standings
The 10 teams competing at the 2015 WJC are divided into two,
five-team groups in the Preliminary round. After a single roundrobin series in each group, the top four teams from each group
advance to the Playoff Round. They will play a cross-over
Quarterfinal game. The winner of each Quarterfinal moves onto
the Semi-finals. The winner of each Semi-final game will move
onto the Gold Medal Game, while the defeated teams will play the
Bronze Medal Game.
