A Non-Profit Organization:
A non-profit organization, the Explorations in Antiquity Center
is not related to any particular denominational organization. It is
important for our Christian board members and staff team serve
peoples of all faith traditions, as well as those of no particular
tradition, and to show a sensitivity and respect for those from
different traditions than their own. What unites us is an interest
in cultivating a curiosity for respecting the past and all it has to
offer to the present.
An Interactive, Experiential Museum:

the distance.
The Explorations in Antiquity Center’s purpose is to transport
the visitor across the sea and through the ages to the earlier times
and places of the Judeo-Christian heritage in the Middle East.
The archaeological remains can help understand earlier periods
and rediscover the hopes and fears of peoples long ago. Our
museum can help the visitor find meaning from the amazing
archaeological discoveries from the biblical world.

meaning of the Last Supper during the Passover season.

world class experience.”
~Time Magazine,

The Explorations in Antiquity Center is an interactive living
museum of life in ancient times. Step back into time as you sit
in a real goat-hair tent like the nomadic shepherds have lived
in for thousands of years. See tombs like those in which the
prophets and Jesus were buried. Visit a village and city gate area
to see what life was like 3000-2000 years ago. Dine with the
ancients as you partake of a Passover Meal much like that which
Jesus ate at the Last Supper. Enter the Time Tunnel and learn
about the worship practices of pagans, Jews and Christians from
2000 BC to 500 AD by exploring replicas of excavated houses
of worship from Israel. These opportunities and so many more
await you at the Explorations in Antiquity Center!
