The Heat is On for Summer 2014 RC Welcomes New
Members of the
Riverside Family
Different emotions are expressed
every end of the Second Semester.
On the part of a graduating
student, it brings uncertainty of what
lies ahead. For the undergraduate
student, it brings an excitement with
what to expect for the next School Year.
For the teacher, it gives him a sense of
fulfillment for another accomplishment
and at the same time, it also brings him
to curiosity with possible summer
loads.
However, in Riverside College,
beyond the expression of various
emotions lie the thrilling question of
how to beat the heat of summer.
This then became the driving force
for every department to think of ways to
have a short break before classes begin
on April 7.
The faculty from the CAS traveled
all the way to Sipalay last March 28 for
an overnight bonding and fellowship
while those from the Nursing
department had their share of gettogether at Alangilan last March 31. The
faculty from the Medical Technology
department are bound to beat the heat
of summer in Antique.
Whether it is near or far, whether it
is a one day event or two, what matters
most is who you are spending your
summer break with and why you need
to go for a short vacation.
After all, teachers also need some
time for themselves, to unwind, relax,
and rejuvenate for them to become
whole and effective when they come
back for the summer classes and the
opening of the new School Year 20142015.
