were designed lo Irim plale parls spun
wilh horizonlal flange.
The horizontal flange of Ihe stamped
plale parts has more or less irregular
edges but is perfeclly flal and serves as
a reference bearing for Ihe Irimming
which is carried oul by means of blades,
posilioned and designed so as lo keep
the part conslanlly adherenl lo Ihe
lilling supporl lable of the machine.
The supporl table height is adjuslable to
allow Ihe cutting of Ihe required poinl.

cycle t,he lable lills down lo unload bolh
Ihe parls and the scrap onlo a conveyor
belI. In this way Ihe slamped part can be
seni lo the subsequenl working phase
and Ihe scrap can reach
Ihe collecling cenler.
Besides lilling the lable can also make a
slraighl verlical slroke. This exlra
fealure is essenlial when before lilling , it
is necessary to remove a wor,kpiece from
shaping rollers of considerable lenglh or
when heavy workpieces are machined.
Il is not necessary lo change Ihe bi ad es
when passing from Ihe Irimming of one
part lo anolher wilh a different shape.
Templales or blades shaped to the
profile of Ihe parts lo be machined are
not necessary.
Undercul edges or grooves slanling
inwards can be carried out withoul
having to use collapsible laps.
The posilioning of Ihe slamped pari on
Ihe machine ,is done wilh such
approximalion Ihat il can be carri ed
oul aulomalically by simple dropping of
Ihe parI.
As well as manually, slarting can be
conlrolled by an impulse coming from
anolher machine; Ihis allows complete
exploitalion of Ihe above.<Jescribed
characteristics with insertion in aline of
aulomalic pressing.
Our shearing machines are also very
useful in the machining of small seri es
of pieces.
Biade replacemenl and adjustment of
the play between Ihem is very easy and
quick.
A centralised lubricalion syslem reduces
maintenance lo a minimum and ensures
Ihe long life of ali Ihe moving parls of
Ihe machine.

support table
This features comes slandard wilh
models "E168R" and " E252R", bui il can
be supplled also on the olher models.
The support lable lowers down
automalically al slarling (molion 2) and
goes up again when trlmming is
compleled (molion 5) Ihen Il lills down
to unload the machined part and Ihe
scrap (molion 6); Ihen il returns to ils
resi posilion (Fig. A). Resi posilion
permils Ihe parls lo advance on Ihe
table wilhoul finding any obslacles
(motion 1).

This machining is carried out in two complete runs of the part at a speed of 8 to 12 mm/min. Thicknesses that can be machined are: "E114R" 1 mm. "E144R" 2 mm. "E168R" 3.5 mm. "E252R" 5 mm. A First run B second run Trimming of parts without horizontal

Up to the diameter or the diagonal of
200 mm it is possible to use the internai
biade of the same shape and size as the
part.
Over 200 mm only circular parts can be
trimmed .
Speed for circular parts: 20 m/min.
For these types 01 machining a pressure
must be exerted on the parI.
Extemal flanging and trimming
Extemal flanging.
Can be carried out both on circular and
not-circular parts.
Trimming of port-holes, frames and other
difficulty accessible parts
Thanks to their special operation our
shearing machines can trim on difficultly
accessible positions or " open" parts like
mudguards, gutter elbows, etc.
