September 7th has been cancelled. Our next meeting will be
on Wednesday, November 2nd.
Wednesday Small Groups – The Genius of Generosity
We invite you to join us Wednesday evenings September 28th –
October 19th as we take a look at the subject of generosity. We will
be looking at the small group study, Genius of Generosity, by Chip
Ingram. Come learn what biblical generosity is, how it can change
your life, connect you with others and help you to invest in what
matters most. There will be live teachings by Pastor Mark and DVD
teachings by Chip Ingram, then breaking into small groups for
discussion. This is going to be a great small group series so be sure
to be with us! If you would like to order a copy of the book Genius of
Generosity, you can go to Amazon.com to order a paper back copy
or download a Kindle version to your mobile devise.
Operation Outreach
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make
our 11th Annual Operation Outreach a huge success! There were
many smiling faces and happy children who walked away with
school supplies, full stomachs and memories of love extended
towards them. Continue to pray for the fruit of our labors and the
harvest that will come!
Cell Phones
Once service begins, we ask that you please silence your cell
phones and your phone keys. Thank you!

Yarn Lovers Group
We are down to the wire. If you have been creating scarves and
caps for our veterans for the upcoming Stand Down we need your
projects turned in. The final day to bring your items in is Tuesday,
September 13th. You can drop them in the We Care bin in the
Lobby or bring them into the Office. Thanks for helping with this
worthwhile project!
Military Service
As a church family we want to keep in prayer our members and their
children who are serving in active duty. Please continue to pray for
Michael Moran II, Paul Ghilici, Mark Ghilic, Phillip Cuaresma, Marvin
Cuaresma, Andrew Chappel, Bob Blake, Brian Blake, Greg Savella II,
Demitri Jones and Joseph Walker. We update the bulletin on a
monthly basis so if you have a family member to add please drop a
note in the offering bucket with the name of the member or child that
is serving or contact Cindy at [email protected].
Employment and Housing Opportunities
We have a bulletin board located by We Care with employment and
housing information. If you have or know of new opportunities please
contact Cindy at the Church Office with the information and the board
will be updated.
Family Updates
It is important that you advise the Church Office when you make a
change in your phone number, address, marital status or other
important information. Please call, drop a note in the offering bucket
or use the website at www.heartofthebay.org and we will update your
records
Nursing Mother’s
We have a Nursing Mother’s room available for our mothers and
infants. This room can be accessed through the Discoverer’s
Classroom in the Preschool wing. This room provides you complete
access to the service with all the privacy that is required.
Invitations Available
Stop by the Information Center and pick up a packet of invitations
inviting people to our church. This is a great tool that you can have
easy access to; they fit in your pocket or purse. Hand one to the
sales clerk, restaurant server, or your child’s teacher.

Members and Friends
Regarding offering envelopes: when giving by cash in the General
Offering, always be sure to complete an envelope with your full name,
address, and phone number printed clearly, along with the exact
amount enclosed in the envelope and the designation of the
contribution. If you are giving by check, please continue to make your
checks payable to HBCC. An envelope isn’t necessary. If you are
giving to more than one designation, please specify the amount for
each designation on the memo line of your check. Please refrain from
using light colored ink as our scanner will not be able to read it. If you
are giving by credit card, we ask that your contribution be no less
than $5.00 as there is a cost involved in processing the
transaction. Providing this information will insure proper recording of
your giving on your Contribution Statements at year-end for tax
purposes.
Opportunities For Prayer
Please review our prayer services times and plan on joining with us in
corporate prayer. Together we can anticipate the inevitable,
supernatural intervention of God!
Solicitation
HBCC has a general policy of no soliciting on the Church grounds.
This includes both in the building and the parking lot. Do not leave
advertisements at the Information Center for any type of event or

the Hurting. We invite you to join us for
our Healing Clinic every Thursday

minister healing to those who need
healing; to teach and build up believers
in the Word on the subject of healing;
and to teach and encourage by precept
and example how to bring healing to
others. We will alternate between live
teachings and DVD teachings. Come
join us and be healed, restored and
encouraged in the Lord.
