ouorum, on l e g a l advice the meeting adjourned t o reconvene a t the home o f Council
man Greenman who was too i l l t o come t o the v i l l a g e h a l l . Motion t o adjourn was
made by I n g e r s o l l and supported by Mater. Motion carried. Trustees answering t o

Councilman Charles R. Hartshorn offered the f o l l o w i n g r e s o l u t i o n and moved
i t s adoption.
Whereas, Section 13 (e) of Act 5 1 , Public Acts of 1P51 provides that each
incorporated c i t y and v i l l a g e t o which funds are returned under the provisions
of t h i s section, t h a t "the r e s p o n s i b i l i t y f o r a l l s t r e e t improvement, maintenance and t r a f f i c operation work s h a l l be coordinated by a single administrator
to be designated by the governing body who s h a l l be responsible f o r and s h a l l
represent the m u n i c i p a l i t y i n a l l transactions w i t h the State Highway Commissioner pursuant to the provisions of t h i s Act," ,
Therefore, be i t resolved, that t h i s Honorable Body designate Joseph K.
Shanahan as the single administrator f o r the V i l l a g e of Marcellus i n a l l
transactions w i t h the State Highway Commissioner as provided i n Section 13
of the Act.
