In the 1980s SureFire created compact high-intensity lights designed specifically for mounting on firearms.

results of SureFire's innovation are the V-Series all-LED KM conversion heads. For elite special operations

Feature extended tactical runtime
SureFire's V-Series KM conversion heads provide brilliant
white light and invisible infrared illumination for use with NVDs,
from one sealed dual-LED assembly, with no need for IR filters. The
KM heads replace old incandescent heads, which have filaments
that can burn out or break, or they can replace your white-lightonly LED heads, which produce negligible infrared output
unsuitable for use with NVDs. They’re easy to install: (1) unscrew
your old head, and (2) screw in the appropriate KM head—no tools
needed (see below). The next page has compatibility information
based on the SF WeaponLight you currently use.

Turn existing head counterclockwise to remove.

Once the KM head is installed, (3) push and twist the bezel
selector ring to select the required light spectrum for the task at
hand. Switching between LEDs is simple, and the self-locking
selector ring ensures that the type of light output you choose stays
locked in place, until you decide otherwise. Then merely activate
your WeaponLight—in white or IR—using the integrated pushbutton
switch or any tape switch you have installed.

Each KM head features two high-performance LEDs and a precision Total
Internal Reflection (TIR) lens that maximizes light output and produces a tight,
extended-reach beam with a bright beam center and generous peripheral
illumination to assist with situational awareness. And since these V-Series
heads are comprised of two solid-state LEDs (one for white and one for IR),
they are virtually indestructible, run far longer than incandescent lamps—and
typically never need replacing. This means you can travel lighter since there’s

ILLUMINATION TOOLS WARRANTY
SureFire warrants its illumination tools, edged weapons, and pen
products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, including
any LEDs housed within the illumination tools, for the lifetime of the original
owner. We will repair, replace, or refund your original purchase price of these
products, at our discretion, if it is determined by us to be defective. Electronics, chargers, and rechargeable batteries are covered for a period of
two years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and tear—including lamps
burning out, headbands and headpads wearing out, batteries draining, ink
cartridges running out, and switches wearing out—is not covered, nor is
damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, battery damage, use of
other than SureFire-brand batteries or accessories, or altering these products from their original state. Parts and accessories for illumination tools
are not covered by this warranty.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
The warranty is exclusive and, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, shall be in
lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose. SureFire disclaims
any and all liability for product malfunctions, physical injuries, or property damages
that result in whole, or in part, from the criminal, negligent, or improper use of the product, or from modifications or alterations thereto. In no event shall SureFire be liable for
any incidental, special, or consequential damages relating to the purchase, use, or
performance of any SureFire product.
