TOHPATI
Tohpati Village is the centre of batik manufacture in Bali and it's very
exciting to watch the Balinese design the cloth. It's not just simple
structured paintings – these people are very skillful. Follow the whole
process production, waxing and weaving and
BATUBULAN
Stone carving has a long tradition here, and the qualities of the
products are very good. From young boys to old men, they all seem to
be experts in stone carving here. The material used is mainly paras
stone, grey volcanic stone or soapstone. It’s no problem to stop by a
stone carver and watch the workers do their work in the shadows
under large trees.
CELUK
Celuk Village is the famous village in Bali as a tourist destination
because the local residents are very proactive and full of innovation in
the gold and silver crafting. This countryside is located in Sukawati,
Gianyar Regency and has individuality and excellence in production of
gold and silver crafting. Most of the workers are Balinese professionals,
who are artistic and skillful inthe design development related to silver
and gold design.
ELEPHANT CAVE
The holy site of Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) is extremely important to
Balinese Hindus and is well worth a visit. It is located in Gianyar
Regency about 27 km from Denpasar, and has been formed by the
confluence of two major rivers; the Pangkung andthe Petanu.
PLANTATION VISIT
Visit a plantation that grows coffee, cacao, ginseng and lemon grass.
They also make the infamous kopi luwak, coffee beans that are eaten
by civet cats and then collected again from the feces for a better taste.

This traditional, non-air-conditioned market offers an
interesting overview of an Indonesia market. In the
basement, you will find the traditional market and lots of
traditional kitchen crafts made out of woven bamboo on
the first floor. The second floor provides spices and dried
goods as well as a wide variety of Balinese printed batik,
Balinese and Javanese hand-woven textiles and various
batik textiles at reasonable prices, while the household
wares and clothing can be found on the third floor.
BIRD & ANIMAL MARKET
PasarBurung (Bird Market) is located on Jl. Pramuka,

Tohpati Village is center of Batik in Bali. It's very exciting to watch the

This waterfall is unique. This waterfall is a river ‘TukadPetanu’ which is
the only waterfall that is not located in the highlands or mountains.
Although it was not so high but the discharge water was very swift. The
water is also clean and clear. It is suitable for bathing or playing around
water. The scenery around the waterfall Tegenungan quite beautiful,
with green trees. Near the waterfall has been built with several shower
baths from natural springs.

Kemenuh is known as the village of wood carvers. All temples and
palace architecture all over the island use wood and stone carvings. On
visiting a temple or Balinese house, you will see the wood and stone
carvings in form of demons with the aim of protecting the temple or
house from any evil.
TEGALALANG – RICE TERRACE
One of the most spectacular rice field terraces is Tegallalangarea, just
about 15 minutes drive outside of Ubud. Surrounding gorge full of rice
fields has over the years attracted many photographers who captured

an attraction in itself.
