Remembering V.M. Litelantes
I
t has been 15 years since the
V.M. Litelantes left the physical
plane yet her words and exemplary life continue to be as tangible as ever. In the words of V.M.
Samael Aun Weor, she was one
of the few who really understood
Gnosis in all its depth and
breadth.
V. M. Litelantes demonstrated
total loyalty and sacrifice living
a modest life as the wife of V. M. Samael. After his disincarnation
she directed the Gnostic Movement with great wisdom; encouraging
all to practice the Teachings exactly as Master Samael had taught
them without adding or deleting anything. She always insisted on
struggling with ones own egos instead of worrying about someone
else’s mistakes or faults.
Interview with Guru Litelantes
In 1981 the students of the
Gnostic center in Madrid had the
unique opportunity to have an
interview with the V.M.
Litelantes during her first visit to
Spain. Here is a brief excerpt
from that encounter from the
book “Litelantes in Spain”. Below is the English interpretation
of her response.

Question: What will be the concrete path to eliminate the ego?
Mistress Litelantes: Fight in
yourselves the strongest psychological defect that you have, every
time it presents to you. Confront
it repeatedly to remove it and
continue on to others the same
way. For this you will need lots
of meditation. Think this way: “I
am going to remove this defect”,
and continue with this thought
until you remove it.
As an example: if there is something that bothers you very much,
confront it repeatedly until you
remove all negative thought of
it : or in dealing with “X” person
that bothers you: try to talk with
her again and again. Try to get
along with that person but without anger. The best defect for one
to eliminate is the ego of bad
will.
Do
not lose an instant,
not a moment, so that you arrive at the
Knowledge of yourselves. There is much
to be done and we will not advance with
bad will. Dominate your egos. Dominate
your mind. Awaken your consciousness
so that you can live the Mysteries of
your Real Being. We have as a great tool
in the books written by my husband.
Practice them intensely.”

Gnostic “Jornadas” (“Assemblies”)
I
n AIGA’s dynamic activities the “Jornadas Gnosticas” or Assemblies, have a very
special place. They are a real battle horse in the dissemination and expansion of our
teachings. In these “Jornadas” several local institutions work together and agree to
conduct the event at a designated institution, usually during a weekend, and share
various activities. The activities start with second chamber programs followed by
public lectures, esoteric practices and a meal prepared by the organizers, all in exchange for a donation. These are grand celebrations that provide a great opportunity
for all to collaborate.
Leaders
We all are called to become leaders;
however leadership will be the result
of an inner revolution, something
that should come out naturally
without any effort, intrigue or
manipulation.
A real leader, as V.M Samael
thought, shows everyone, to follow
their own consciousness, their own
Inner Being and not to follow
anyone else. However, as long as we
remain asleep we would only
become blind leaders leading blind
followers and would have to pay a
great Karma for doing so.
We should encourage all students to
develop their own inner particularity
paying attention to the Ego’s tricks
and inner deceits; being careful not
to be misled by it.
If all leaders, Missionaries,
Instructors and members were to
worry more about dominating their
own psychological aggregates instead
of worrying about the psychological
aggregates of their fellow brothers
and sisters, all gnostic groups around
the world would be in harmony,
cooperating which each other and
contributing towards same goals and
ideals.
All things fall under their own
weight so let us not judge others; let
us judge our own thoughts, actions
and deeds.

These gatherings serve several purposes. Not only do they bring together the
Gnostic students to share spiritual activities but also they become a platform from
which the Gnostic teachings are projected to invited audiences. Above all one of the
most important roles of these “Jornadas” is that they provide a unique opportunity
for local instructors to make public presentations to an audience larger and more
diverse than normally accustomed to. This way, instructors are prepared to present
at larger events in the future such as national conventions or international congresses.
We encourage these activities to continue to expand and for all instructors to take
advantage of this opportunity and present to larger and more diverse public audiences to step-up the expansion of Gnosis in the USA.
Texas Retreat Center
T
he foundation of the Gnostic Teachings is and always has been the work on
oneself. We know that intellectual Gnosis without applying the practical Gnosis results in failure. It is for this reason that our beloved World Director, Osiris Gomez
Garro places strong emphasis on the practical work. He has always encouraged students to break away from their regular routines and surroundings to participate as
often as possible in Gnostic spiritual retreats. Retreats allow us to focus intensely for
a few days on nothing but our own spiritual work in remote and peaceful surroundings.
With this in mind, Mr. Osiris Gomez Garro has seen the need for such a spiritual
center in the central part of the USA and has decreed the establishment of a retreat
center in Texas, placing National Coordinator of Instructors, Francisco Noe Carrillo
and his wife, Maria in charge of this grand project, which is currently in the planning
stages.
This is a call-to-action for the entire Gnostic community in the USA and an opportunity to collaborate with the Great White Lodge to play a role in the building of
this center. Help of all types is needed at this stage. Financial donations are crucial
in getting the project going; to purchase land, materials, etc., so please give from
your heart whatever you can and you will be repaid by the Divine Law “three times
three”. Aside from financial help, if you have skills or expertise in the areas of construction, architecture, engineering, carpentry, plumbing, electrician, etc., contact us

Stella Maris Retreat Center
The Stella Maris Retreat
Center is the first retreat
center established in the
United States under the
American Institute of
Gnostic Anthropology.
Located in historic Richmond Virginia, the Stella
Maris Center is open to all
Second Chamber students.
The essential purpose of the Center is to provide the students with
the opportunity to explore and expand their understanding and comprehension of the Gnostic Teachings of V.M. Samael Aun Weor;
through intensive practices and esoteric disciplines, that serve as
pathway to encourage and intensify in the inner work, so necessary
for the radical change and for the awakening of Conscience. Activities include esoteric practices, lectures, walks and bonfires.

The 5 th North American Convention
The World Headquarters of the Gnostic Institutes has selected San Jose,
California to be the site of the 5th North American Convention. Luis
and Angélica Núñez have been designated as directors of the event.

in the city of San Jose.
