encompasses over 100 artistic, cultural and
community programs between May and
October in Yerba Buena Gardens. All programs
in Yerba Buena Gardens are FREE to the public
and include music, theater, dance, spoken
word, and family and children’s programming.
“Yerba Buena Gardens Festival is an
exceptional venue for artists of all
persuasions!! It is as important and creative
as any gallery or museum in the city and
watching the crowds of people enjoying
open access to creative energy is a SF
tradition that is fading away… except for the
beautiful work by the folks at Yerba Buena
Gardens!! Keep up the excellent spark!!”

“The Festival is essential to providing
cultural activities to displaced
residents in San Francisco.”
“Really appreciate the wide diversity of performers YBG
Festival has; the AXIS dance group is one that many people
would not otherwise be aware of or be able to see perform.”
“Keep up the great work – giving the gift of music to our community! It is so wonderful that these shows are accessible to all.
The crowds are always so diverse and I really appreciate that!”
“Great location. Appreciate the free
admission. Do not often get to see Na
Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu so this is a treat!”

“…a perfect day in San Francisco, the Omar Sosa event was
amazing. THANK YOU for putting on these events!!!”

“Circus Bella was so great, better than I even hoped.”

Through a study funded by the Hewlett
Foundation, Yerba Buena Gardens Festival
worked with Wolf Brown & Associates to
collect data on the 2012 season audience.
“I really like the YBGF series, and I try to go
to as many as I can. Thanks very much for
holding them! I’m impressed that they have
such a long run each year.”
