WELCOME NEW MEMBER
The following business has made an important investment in their community by joining the chamber.
Please remember them for your business and personal needs. Also make a special effort to welcome them as they attend our functions.
FROX, Jill Strickland, 17 N. Seventh Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, phone: 215-258-3570, Web site: www.shopfrox.net. For over
ten years, FROX boutique has been helping women look good and feel great in easy-fit, mix-and-match, and work-to-weekend
clothing and accessories. Shopping at FROX is a unique customer experience providing a sort of
“retail therapy”-- customers usually leave feeling better than when they came in. Operating her fun
and funky shop in downtown Perkasie, and now in a second location in Ambler, owner Jill Strickland
shares with her clients more than 20 years experience as an apparel manufacturer representative and
women’s clothing expert. Be sure to watch for their twice-a-year fashion shows which bring a little bit
of the NYC runway experience to Perkasie.

Landis Markets - Celebrating 75 Years of Serving You!
From the humble beginnings of
delivering meat off the back of a
wagon, to the present day of 4-local
supermarkets, the Landis Family is
proud to celebrate 75 years of serving
you. Beginning in 1938, when Frank
Landis with his wife Sadie, opened a
small supermarket on Main Street in
Telford, this business, spanning three
generations, is a “Family” business in
the truest sense of the word. Today,
with locations in Telford, Perkasie,
Schwenksville and Vernfield, they are continuing a
tradition of excellence.
In this day and age where family-owned businesses are
becoming less common, Landis Supermarket is proud
to continue to be family owned and operated. “We see
this as a distinct advantage in our marketplace. Being
deeply connected to our communities while having
long standing partnerships with local vendors makes
shopping Landis Supermarket a unique and distinctive
experience for our customers,” states Scott Landis,
Chairman of the Board.
The Landis spirit is rooted by providing service to
the community, woven into the daily lives of many
through the employment of over 600 employees,
supporting local businesses, leadership positions on
area business committees and boards, and product and
financial donations to not for profit organizations. Part
of the mission of Landis Markets is giving back to the
communities who have helped make them successful.”
From the freshest Lancaster County
produce, a farmer’s market deli with
premium meats, cheeses and homemade
salads, to the legendary Mrs. Benner’s
‘made from scratch’ bakery items, it is
the unique products and services that
have been developed and offered over
the past 75 years that allows Landis to be
a leading independent supermarket chain
in Pennsylvania, offering unlimited value
and convenience to over 35,000 weekly
shoppers.
Knowing the value of TIME, and the lack of it in
our busy lives, the offering of “One-Stop Shopping”
is a value that many loyal customers have learned
to appreciate. Not only daily food needs, but
also banking, pharmacy prescriptions (at Telford
and Vernfield) and healthcare needs, party and
entertaining supplies, lunch and dinner options from
Sadie’s hot food buffet, and so much more are offered
in one spot.
Landis Supermarket continues to grow in challenging
times. They are proud of their reputation of being
known for providing exceptional customer service.
Independent food stores, like Landis, are working
hard to survive in a market saturated with large chains
and box stores that command attention and offer deep
discounts on select products to get consumers in the
doors. And yet the Landis family continues to create
ways to make their services unique to the industry,
focusing on each community that it serves.
