How To Find and Play BrainPop Jr Movies
Welcome boys and girls to BrainPop Jr. We have been learning about kinds of matter in
Science. Now I will show you how to find a movie about matter on BrainPop Jr. I will give you
steps to follow on the computer so that you can find and play a Science movie called Solids,
Liquids, and Gases. Follow each step listed below to move from one screen to another in
BrainPop, Jr. I will give you a User Name and a Password that will let you into the program.
To begin you will need to find the Explorer icon on the blue screen. There will be two places
where you have to spell words in the steps to the movie so be sure to spell carefully. You will be
spelling BrainPop Jr.in step 2. You will spell a User Name and a Password in step 4. Spelling
the words in the right way will help you get into the program. Follow each of the steps in order,
spell correctly, and you should be able to find and play the movie. Enjoy your first try at
BrainPop Jr.!

Step 1- Open Explorer
Look at the blue screen of icons. Find the blue
E that stands for Explorer.
Click two times on Explorer icon.
Step 2 - Website
When Explorer opens
to school home page,
click on the white bar
that says
“Spotsylvania County
Schools”. It will turn
blue.
Type
www.brainpopjr.com
in the box.
Then press enter on
the keyboard.

Step 3 - Log In
When the BrainpopJr screen
comes up, go to the orange
Log In bar and click two
times on the words Log In.
.
Step 4 - User and
Password
After you click two times on
Log In, a new orange bar
will say User Name and
Password. Click on User
Name white box and type in
the User name you have
been given.
Then click on the Password
white box and type in the
Password you have been
given.
Then click on the word GO.

Step 5 - Science
After you enter in User
Name and Password, find
the green picture box that
says Science.
Click on the green Science
box.
Step 6 - Matter
After you click on the green
Science box, you will see lots of
Science picture boxes. Find the
picture box that says Matter and
shows an ice cube.
Click on the box with the ice
cube.

Step 7 - Solids, Liquids, and Gases
After you click on the Matter box
with the ice cube, find the box that
says Solids, Liquids, and Gases. In
the box will be pictures of a chair, a
bottle of orange juice, and an inner
tube filled with air.
Click on this box.
Step 8 - Play Movie
After you click on the box
that says Solids, Liquids,
and Gases, you will see a
screen that shows a box of
words telling about the
movie. Next to the word
box is a picture box that
has a boy in his swimsuit.
The boy is standing on a
diving board above a pool.
Under the diving board you
will see the words Solids,
Liquids, and Gases. In the
picture you will see an
orange box that says play.
Click on the orange box
that says play to watch the
movie.

Now you have followed the steps to find and play a BrainPop Jr. movie. Let’s go over
the steps you did to get to the movie. You found the Explorer icon, the blue E, on the blue
screen. You moved to the Spotsylvania home page where you typed www.BrainPopJr.com. and
pressed the enter key. Then you clicked on Log In. You then typed in the User Name and the
Password you were given. You clicked on GO. You then found and clicked on the Science box.
You next clicked on the Matter box followed by the Solids, Liquids, and Gases box. Last you
clicked on the play box and enjoyed the movie! This movie helped you learn more interesting
facts about solids, liquids, and gases. Be ready to share with your classmates what you learned
in the movie. I hope you were able to move from step to step with no problems. Being able to
follow these steps will help you to find many movies in BrainPop Jr. Science, as well as, other
places like Math, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Now that you know how to find and play a
BrainPop movie you will be able to take some of the same steps to find and play BrainPop
games!
