Clinician 1: Barry Collie [British Senior National Coach]
Barry has led Great Britain from obscurity to the top, winning the last 4 Junior European
Championship team titles. Barry’s first wave of juniors are now making a splash at the
senior level making two apparatus finals at the 2014 World Championships.
Barry currently works throughout the country spreading a philosophy and a work ethic
based on hard work, creativity, and lots of fun.
Clinician 2: Pete Etherington [British Junior National Coach]
With his first wave of gymnasts Pete has produced the impressive and explosive Junior
Olympic Champion Giarrni Regini-Moran. Pete is an inspiration to coaches who were not
gymnasts themselves, proving that passion and a thirst for learning can get you to the
top. Pete works in Greater London with a team of junior gymnasts, all of which are in the
junior national team.

- TOPIC 4: Pommel Horse Lecture
To build long term success and raising the level of boy’s gymnastics in Nor-Cal by providing
education for coaches. We will learn new philisophies, techniques, and drills and then put
them in to practice. Every event will begin with a focus on developing strong basics before
moving on to the above specified topics.
Open to all NCBGA coaches and visiting coaches (pending space availability). Although the
clinic is focused on coach education, the weekend will be invaluable for gymnasts. With limited
apparatus and safe group sizes, there is a max. of 50 spots for gymnasts (max 3/gym).

to the clinic. Accomodation and food are not provided.
