2014/2015 Sponsor Proposal
MCC Mission Statement
MCC members eat, live, sleep and love
crappie fishing.
Our mission is to promote the sport of
crappie fishing for our members and
sponsors through tournaments,
community service projects, cookouts, and
other functions.
We encourage our members to keep their fish
alive and return them to the lake.

Who is Magnolia Crappie Club?

MCC was established in 1991, we will be entering our 23nd year

MCC has over 250 current members.

MCC records from 45 to 88 boats (2-person teams) per
tournament in 2014, and recorded nearly 80 boats (2-person
teams) at our Open Tournaments. We had teams from 9 states.

MCC sends out monthly newsletters to hundreds of our
members, friends and sponsors. We place nearly 200 newsletters
in Bass Pro & Academy Sports each month.

MCC website www.magnoliacrappieclub.com with over 1.2 Million
hits per year average. During the spring months we record
250,000 to 350,000 hits per month.

MCC is involved in numerous community service projects like
Catch a Dream, “Catch a Crappie-Feed a Child”, Wednesday’s
Child, Eagle Lake Restoration Project, Got Fish Program, Katrina
Relief Fish Fry, Katfishing Kids

MCC members are active writers for several national outdoor
magazines and blogs. Mississippi Sportsman, Mississippi
Outdoors, Crappie Angler Magazine, Clarion-Ledger Sports.

MCC members are constantly featured in national magazines
Crappie World, In-Fishermen, Mississippi Sportsman, Mississippi
Outdoors, Crappie Angler Magazine, Crappie-NOW

MCC members have been featured on numerous Outdoor TV
Shows. Mississippi Outdoors, Midwest Crappie, Rusty Faulk
Outdoors, In-Fisherman TV.

MCC has 60+ key financial sponsors.

We pump at least $60,000 worth of economic benefit to your
local economy for a one-day tournament.

Several MCC members are professional crappie guides and they
bring numerous out-of state clients to your area during offweekends.

What’s In It For Your Group????

MCC brings at least 80 members (40 Teams) to your city for at least 3
days. That’s 2 days of pre-fishing (practice) and tournament day.
•
MCC members purchase at least 20 hotel/motel rooms for 2 or more
days. Some members bring their entire family.
•
MCC members purchase at least 2 meals per day at your restaurants.
•
MCC members purchase at least 1 tanks of gas per day (boat/truck) per
team.
•
MCC members purchase bait and tackle each of the 3 days from your
local bait shops.
•
MCC members pay launch fees each day at the lake. That’s 3 launch fees
for each of the 48 team average.
•
MCC members use your local repair shops and parts shops for any
repairs needed during their stay.
•
MCC purchases items from your local stores each day we’re in town.

In exchange you would have exclusive naming rights to our twoday championship tournament and Open Tournament.

You would receive national advertising in the leading national outdoor
magazines.

We would organize a Kids Division for children under 16 and award
special prizes for several age groups.

MCC will host a Cookout Friday night and host our registration at your
selected location displaying your company banner at each event.
•
MCC will advertise your group logo in our monthly newsletter and our
website & Equipment Trailer.

MCC Members travel in large groups, we take the kids, the
wives and even the parents. We boost the local economy
with our spending. We make our tournaments like a family
vacation.

MCC kids are the center of our outings and the future of our
organization. We know of no other way to teach the kids
about the great outdoors, and get the hooked on fishing.

MCC’s plan is to organize our marketing approach to reach
the maximum number of people using all the medias we
have available.
