JoeiCarltonHossack JoeiCarltonHossackhasbeenwritingfortwenty-oneofher seventy-twoyears.Astheenjoymentofwritingprogressedshe addedphotography,entertainingandinspirationalspeaking, travel-writingandmemoir-writingteaching,storytellingand finallywentbacktoherloveofcraftscreatingbeaded bookmarks,beadedspiders,angelcharmsandpendantstoname butafew.Shehasturnedherhobbyintoabusinessandlovesall ofit.SheisstilltravellingsoloinherRVfromtimetotimebut nowpreferscruiseships,bustripsandtraintripsoranymodeof transportationwheresomeoneelsedoesthecookingand cleaninganddrivingbutshestillLOVEStellingherstories. CaitlinHicks CaitlinHicksisanauthor,internationalplaywright,and acclaimedperformer.Monologuesfromseveralofherplays werefeaturedinSmith&Kraus’seriesBestWomen’sStage Monologues(NewYork).Shealsowrotetheplay,later adaptedforthescreen,SingingtheBones,debutingat MontrealWorldFilmFestival.ATheoryofExpandedLove,her debutnovel,won:iBooksBestNewFiction(Spring2015); SomersetAwards(LiteraryFiction);BestInspirationalFiction:NextGenerationIndieAwards; BRONZEbookoftheyear(LiteraryFiction)INDIEFABAwardsandJDCTopMustReadBooksof 2015.HickshasworkedasawriterforCBSandNBCradioandhasperformedherfictionand non-fictionforCBCnationalradio.Hickswasraisedinalarge,CatholicfamilyinPasadena, California. NeilMcKinnon NeilMcKinnonwasraisedinSaskatchewan.Heservedinthe RCNandhasbeenabusinessman,archaeologist,university lecturer,andfreelancewriter.HeisanalumnusoftheWriting withStyleprogramattheBanffCentre.Hisarticleshave appearedinternationally,andin1999hewonfirstprizeinan InternationalWritingCompetitionsponsoredbytheCanadian Author'sAssociation.Theentry,Xi'antoLantian,was publishedinacollectionin2000.In2002hereceivedthird prizeintheCAA'sInternationalShortStoryCompetitionfor BreakingUpIsHardToDo,publishedinananthologyin2003. HisbookTuckahoeSlidebottlewasshort-listedforthe StephenLeacockAwardforhumourandfortheAlbertaBookAwardforshortfiction. JimMcWilliams JimMcWilliamsgrewupinandaroundMooseJaw, Saskatchewan,inanatmosphereofhistoryandmusic.Hehas pursuedthesetwolures,plusanurgetoexplore,forhiswhole life.Consequentlyhehassampledmanyoccupationsincluding soldier,social-worker,labourer,farm-hand,musician, waiter/cook,teacher,internationalvolunteer-worker,andwriter. Jim’spublicationsincludesnumerousmagazinearticles,one musiccollection,threehistoricalstudiesoftheFirstWorldWar, andthehistorical/adventureseries,“TheMacHughMemoirs– fourpublished,andthreemoreinthefinalstagesofproduction.
