Ameican Veterans. Survivors include his wife Dorothy; two
daughters, Kathy Brand, Clearwater, and Jean Johnson,
Brookville; two brothers, Harold and Rev. Melvin, both of
Tennessee; a sister Thelma Brown, California, and three

Mrs.
Clemons was a member, with Dr. G.
A. Hoppess, elder, in charge.
Dr. S. J. Stottlemyer,
Madison
county coroner, was called and pronounced death due to a cerebral
hemorrhage.
Mrs.
Clemons,
who
had resided in Anderson for the past
thirty years contracted a Slight cold
two weeks ago. She otherwise showed no signs of illness, members of the
family say.

Surviving besides the son at whose
home she died, are three other sons,
Ernest,
of Anderson;
James
of
Frankton; Abe of Toledo; two daughters Mrs. Ida Hudson and Mrs. Otis
Whitlow, both of Anderson; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Pond, Fort Worth.
Texas, and Mrs, Lucy Hern, of Madison county;
fifteen
grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
