Adoration is held every Friday after the 8AM Mass until 4:30 PM
followed by Benediction.
DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET - The Divine Mercy Chaplet
is recited Monday through Friday after the 8:00 AM Mass. The
Chaplet is recited in the cry room. All are invited.

Mercy every Wednesday in the Cry Room.
ROSARY
Rosary prayed every Monday through Friday before the 8:00 AM

4:00 PM SATURDAY MASS
Beginning June 13th through September 5th,
there will be a Mass at 4:00 PM every
Saturday at Holy Trinity Chapel in Longs.
There will be Confession before Mass from 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
We hope this additional Mass will be the perfect solution
for you if you wish to avoid the busy summer traffic in
North Myrtle Beach on a Saturday afternoon.
Directions to Holy Trinity from Our Lady Star of the Sea.
Turn left onto Highway 17, turn right on Robert Edge
Parkway. Continue on the parkway (2 traffic lights). After
second light, go straight and the road will continue on to
Highway 90 (toward Conway). After approximately 4
miles, look for large billboard with ad for Holy Trinity
Catholic School and make a right onto Star Bluff Rd.
Continue for about one mile and make a right turn at the
sign for Holy Trinity.
WELCOME THE VISITING
MADONNA
While we are encouraged to embrace Jesus’
cross, perhaps the next best thing we can do
as the faithful is to turn to the Blessed
Mother for guidance…”Blessed Mother,
please help me.” As human beings, we can’t
do everything. But the Blessed Mother can
go to her Son Jesus and do wonders.
The Knights of Columbus are offering
intimate prayer devotions in your own homes
to all parishioners so that every family may
experience visitation for one week from our Visiting Madonna.
Families will begin to experience a sense of peace, quiet and
reflection while saying the Rosary as a family with Our Lady. The
family that prays together stays together. If you are interested in
participating in welcoming the Visiting Madonna, please call Sam
Konrad at (843) 399-7003 or email him at [email protected].
This week, The Visiting Madonna will be presented to
LaVere & Joella Henderson at the 10:00 AM Mass.
MASS FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED
The 10:00 AM Mass on the 4th Sunday of the month
will be signed as a service to those in need in our

EVANGELIZATION
R.C.I.A. The Rite of
Christian Initiation of
Adults
The R.C.I.A. is a process of spiritual
conversion and growth, over time, in one’s
relationship with God and the Church.
It is a faith journey where adults are fully welcomed
into the Catholic Church. If you’re interested in
exploring a relationship with Jesus Christ; inquiring
about the Catholic Church; becoming Catholic; and
being fully initiated into the Catholic Church through
the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism,
Confirmation & Eucharist,
WE WELCOME YOU!
For more information about the R.C.I.A.
process, please contact Deacon Bob at the
Church Office.
Classes will resume in the fall.

CHRISTIAN FORMATION
HOLYTRINITYCATHOLICSCHOOL
A Ministry of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish
ONGOING REGISTRATION
Registration is continuing for Grades K 4 through Grade 7. If you would like to register a child/children for Holy Trinity
Catholic School, please either call the school office to arrange for a tour or come to the school office at 1760 Living
Stones Lane, Longs, SC between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm to pick up an application form. Remember school
opens on August 18th.
GIVING TREE
Thank you to all who have taken an envelope from the Holy Trinity Catholic School Giving Tree and donated money to
buy the item listed on the envelope. The items listed are things that the teachers can use to enhance the educational
program at the school. They are the “extra things” that can’t always be worked into the operating budget. Every item given
is very much appreciated and all at the school are truly grateful for your generosity. The Giving Tree will remain in the
narthex of the church and in the school hall through the Labor Day weekend. Please continue to support the Giving Tree!
SPONSOR A STUDENT
At this time registration is taking place for the 15-16 school year. Some of our families are in need of assistance with
tuition for their child/children. Our parents make many sacrifices in order to send their child/children to Holy Trinity
Catholic School and sometimes, even though the school is able to provide tuition assistance to families, it is never
enough. Some parishioners sponsor students each year by providing a full or partial tuition for these students. Would you
be able to do the same? If you would like to become a sponsor, please call Ms. Durante, school principal, at 843-
390- 4108. Thank you for considering this opportunity.

DIOCESAN CAMPUS MINISTRIES
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
It is not a secret that the college years are a
very important time in the lives of young
people. It is a time of setting a future
course of life and of making sense of the
meaning of our lives. It is imperative that
the Church be present to college students
to assist them in these defining years.
Since our diocese has no Catholic institutions of higher
learning within our borders, our primary outreach to
college students is through our Campus Ministry
Programs at over 20 college campuses throughout South
Carolina. We do our best to be present to many
thousands of Catholic students as well as provide a
Catholic witness on these campuses.
We need your support to assist in sustaining and
expanding our ministries to these young adults. This
year, the diocese will call for a special collection to
support Diocesan Campus Ministries.
I ask for your generosity in supporting this very important
ministry.
In the Lord’s Peace,
Most Reverend Robert E. Guglielmone
Bishop of Charleston

Thank you for your continued support for OUR LADY’S
KITCHEN and our families in the Food Distribution Program.
Our need is still great. Many have had hours cut from work,
putting another strain on the family income. Our Food
Security program and Our Lady’s Kitchen have been a real
life support for the families who struggle to make ends meet.
Your financial donations and food contributions are
our only means of support for this growing need in the
North Myrtle Beach Communities. These programs could not
exist without You.
Thank You
and May God Continue to Bless You.
