For Youth Development
• Summer Camp – Over 100 families experience
the rewards of this memorable summer experience
where imaginations are nourished and creativity
inspired.
• Swim Lessons – Fatal drowning remains the
second-leading cause of unintentional injury
related deaths for children age 1 to 14 years. Over
40 children are taught swim lessons and water
safety through the Middlesex Family YMCA.
• Youth Super Sports Soccer – Over 200 youth across Middlesex County develop character,
sportsmanship, and strengthen confidence while
learning soccer skills
For Healthy Living
• Chair and Strengthen Class – Engaging older
adults in strength training that provides long term
health benefits in a socially engaging class.
• Living Empowered: Diabetes Prevention – This
series tackles the growing epidemic of diabetes
in America through a program which enlivens the
individual through education, wellness coaching
and group support systems. Offered twice a year
at the Middlesex Family YMCA.
For Social Responsibility
• Bright Beginnings – Every August, children in
need go back to school shopping with volunteers
ensuring that children in need are able to start the
school year off right with new supplies, shoes
and clothes.
• Angel Tree – This December, 30 youth and adults
in need will receive warm clothes, hats, gloves and
toys. They’ll experience love and kindness through
volunteer donations in this impactful program.
