Renowned as the Nonna of Italian cuisine, Lidia’s four New York acclaimed restaurants, Felidia, Becco, Esca and Del Posto along with Lidia’s Pittsburgh and Lidia’s Kansas City showcase her indisputable roots peppered with family recipes and signature dishes. In addition to the restaurant business, Lidia also oversees Tavola Productions, her own line of LIDIA’S pastas and sauces and is a co-­‐
owner of the famed Eataly food and wine marketplaces in the US and Brazil. Les Dames d’Escoffier’s Gala evening will once again be hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver with a brigade of the region’s finest chefs creating a seven course dinner paired with exquisite, award winning wines from far and near. Representation from destination restaurants will include culinary luminaries such as: Pino Posteraro from Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill & Enoteca, JC Poirier from Ask for Luigi, Pizzeria Farina and Pourhouse, Robert Belcham from Campagnolo and Campagnolo Roma, Jean-­‐Claude Douguet from Gotham Steakhouse & Bar, Les Dames alumni and Season 2 Chopped Canada champion, Alana Peckham from the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver/Alligga, Rhonda Viani from West and James Coleridge from Bella Gelateria. Les Dames member, Executive Chef Margaret Chisholm of Culinary Capers Catering will orchestrate the evening of exceptional food and wine. Seating at the long communal table cacooned in a cloud of airy white sheers and olive branches sets the scene for a truly magical and intimate dinner party led by TV host and MC, Fanny Kiefer.
