Winnebago Wednesday– PLAY TAKES PLACE The Parenting Place
Wednesdays * June 22nd-July 27th * 10 AM-11 AM * Winnebago Park
Every week brings a different theme sponsored by local businesses. The themes
range from petting zoo to nature day to transportation day. Winnebago Wednesdays
are in Tomah’s Winnebago Park. This event is free for any young child (ages 0-5+)
and the adults who care about them. These programs are designed just for our
youngest children and their parents. We focus on the simple open-ended activities
you experienced as a child: water play, stacking, jumping, moving and creating
activities. This type of play builds a foundation for future success. This is a time to
spend time engaging with your child/ren in a safe environment. An adult must be
with a child/ren at all times and we ask that you have a ratio of five children per one
adult. Lunch is provided @ 11am: free for children, small charge for adults. Check
our Facebook page for other weather related cancellations (will cancel for rain).
