2015 Judges/Instructors
Jordan Johnson – Plano, TX
Lewis McClendon – Atlanta, GA
Jordan is a world renowned cheer and dance choreographer and has
worked with Flo Rida, Nelly Furtado, Omarion, ShShy, Timbaland,
Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Hayden Panettiere, Christiana
Millan to name a few. He was on SYTYCD season 7 & 9 and has
won 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at USASF Dance Worlds.
He is a 5 time NCA National Champion (Cheer) and 9 time NDA
National Champion (Dance). He has 25 years of power tumbling and
competitive trampoline experience with USAG.
A native of New Jersey, he developed his love for the sport while
cheering at Georgia All-Stars. He has choreographed for worldrenowned programs including Georgia All-Stars, CAO Elite, World
Cup Shooting Stars, etc and many of his routines have earned paid
bids to The Summit, Worlds, US Finals, etc. Lewis is also a USASF
Safety-Certified Judge and was celebrated at the 2014 USASF
Choreographer of the year.
Alvin Davis – Philadelphia, PA
Jerry Ozuna – Dallas, TX
Alvin was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. He started competing
all-around and then switched to power tumbling. During college
(where he obtained a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics
and then an MBA in Finance) he started coaching gymnastics and
has been doing so for the past 8 years. He’s worked with several All
Star cheerleading programs developing solid tumbling programs. It is
his fervent mission to create confident, technically sound athletes.
Jerry has had a successful career as both a cheerleader and a
dancer. Jerry won two NCA Collegiate National Championship titles
with Navarro College (cheer), as well as two NDA National Titles in
2009 and 2014 (dance). As a dancer and choreographer, Jerry has
won two USASF Worlds Titles. Jerry has been coaching at Cheer
Athletics since 2011. Aside from coaching, Jerry also works as a
professional dance choreographer and music producer.
Joey Hahn – Dallas, TX
CJ Pugh – Mississauga, ON
Joey has a passion for innovative choreography and technical
excellence and has many awards to show for it. He is a USASF
Worlds Champion (Cheer), a 4-time NDA Champion (Dance), and an
NCA High School, Collegiate and All-Star National Champion
(Cheer). For the past 8 years he has dedicated his focus to
th
professional music mixing. He also is a 4 Degree Black Belt and
certified instructor.
CJ started of his cheer career off with a bang by winning 4 back to
back Canadian National Titles (and many US Championships as
well) as a Mustang with the University of Western Ontario. He is the
Co-Owner of Power Cheer Toronto Cobras and co-coach of the 5time ICU World Championship team Team Canada. He coached for
many years at the highschool and allstar level before opening PCT.
Natalie Vonlanthen – Mississauga, ON
Chris Cunningham – Toronto, ON
Natalie has 29 years of coaching experience and hundreds of
championship titles. She cheered at the University of Western
Ontario. She coached Catholic Central High School, White Oaks
Wildcats and was co-owner of PCA (a camp company that traveled
Canada and is largely credited with developing cheer in Canada).
She is the Co-Owner of Power Cheer Toronto Cobras and co-coach
of the 5-time ICU World Championship team Team Canada.
Chris has been involved with cheerleading as an athlete and coach
for over 15 years. He cheered at Eastern Passage JH, Cole Harbour
High School and for Cheer Extreme Allstars. He eventually became
a coach at all three programs and received the CheerExpo Canadian
Coach of the Year designation in 2008. Known for his innovative
choreography and entertaining performances, Chris now lives in
Toronto can coaches at PCT.
