chapter members took a state park run day. We took in
Upcoming Events

five state parks that warm summer day: Arrowhead,

Eufaula, Dripping Springs, Okmulgee, and Keystone. We THE END
also met up with Chapter I in Bixby for a meet and greet.
Wow, we put in almost 500 miles that fun day!!
Chapter B will be taking another state park run the end of
July. We will be going to Beaver’s Bend State Park for
the weekend. Day rides will be taken to collect the state
park pictures. Jump on your bike and join us!!!!

Happy Independence Day to All,
Yes, it is the Fourth of July as well, but sometimes I feel we forget the real meaning of
this day of celebration amid the fireworks, hamburgers and corn on the cob.
This day we celebrate our INDEPENDENCE from the scrutiny and taxation of another
land. But, that independence came with a great price. Many Americans gave their lives
for that freedom not just in colonial times but all throughout our history. The great men
and ladies of this country gave the ultimate sacrifice, their lives, to protect our freedoms.
I ask that you all take time over the holiday weekend to bow your heads in a moment of
silence to remember all those who felt compelled to protect and serve this great nation.
This country will live on because we are all FREE to follow our dreams.
Use that freedom to follow your dreams. Travel this great country and see what makes
us great. See you all at Wing Ding as I follow my dream.

BOOM’S new outfit is ongoing. He will have a
new vest and some chaps. Thank you Kay and
Smitty for all your work getting BOOM ready to
meet his public.
The scrapbook is coming along nicely. Next
meeting is Friday July 22nd at 10 am at Judy’s
house. Come on folks get out and help support
the great work Judy is doing on this “ribbon of
memories”.

TECH TALK

Wing Ding is almost here and for those of you who are motoring
out to Montana you should have your ride in tip top shape.
We will be having another TECH DAY on Sunday July 16th.
Sorry for the Sunday schedule, but July is turning out to be a
pretty busy month.
We will start at 12 noon so you can still attend services. Bring
your oil and filters or other parts and accessories that need attention. Let’s take the time to check tire wear and tire pressures before the long ride. You do not want to be stuck out in the middle
of no where with a flat tire!!
For the ladies, Carol will again set up the jewelry table.
Please RSVP to Mark. He needs a head count for hamburgers.
You ladies pick out a side dish or dessert to bring. Water will be
provided but you can bring what you wish to drink.
